Google Nexus One Review

review(nexus1)Introduction:
The Google Nexus One is a handset owned by Google, made to show off the Android operating system. It’s produced by HTC.

Size and handling:
The Google Nexus One is a large device, but is quite good to hold and very light. The back is rubberized and fits in one’s palm when operating the device with the thumb.
The display is an AMOLED, high-resolution screen which is razor sharp and glowing with vivid colors and profound blacks. It isn’t good in dazzling sunlight compared to the iPhone, but it is loads better than a normal LCD screen.
A black border beneath the screen has 4 touch-sensitive buttons: Menu, Back, Search, and Home. There is no corporeal Call key. Beneath this there is a central clickable trackball for steering around the home screens that exude light when one gets a message or a call.

Android and features:
The Android 2.1 can be found on some HTC devices. However, the Nexus One contains some features that are unique. The voice-to-text option is one of them.
Another of the Nexus One’s special features is the Google Goggles, which analyzes photos and leads one to the proper websites.

Home screens:
Android 2.1 puts forward 5 home screens, with beautiful vivacious wallpapers. As these home screens need a speedy processor to work fine, the Google Nexus One has an excellent processor: the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon.
Once one is online, one can expand content with the exquisite pinch-and-zoom feature.

Camera:
The 5-megapixel camera is good. It does have a flash, which is always good, although unquestionably, the results are much superior in excellent light.
Also, the Nexus One also acts as a phone – and an excellent one at that. Contrasting other smartphones out in the market, calls connect rapidly and the noise-cancellation technology betters the sound eightfold.

Drawbacks:
The Nexus One has some minor flaws that are worth mentioning. For example, it takes some time to get habitual to the touch-sensitive icons at the base of the screen. One needs to press them in precisely the right place, leading to loads of frequent pressing until the person gets it right.
It’s also big. There will surely be people who just can’t be happy with a handset of this size. It’s also a pretty complex phone. This will draw some people and disappoint others. Also, the battery gets drained on an everyday basis, but that is the case with most of the feature-rich smartphones.
Memory is a usual with Google phones, and the Nexus One isn’t any better. However, one can simply invest in a microSD card to boost the storage capacity.
