There is a lot of hype going on around media buffs concerning the release of the new handset in the iPhone series, the iPhone 4G. This includes a lot of rumors concerning its features, its date of release and its appearance. Many people have posted pictures of the iPhone 4G on the internet. Obviously, many of them have been prepared on Photoshop. But there are a few pictures and videos that are convincing and give us a fair idea about the appearance of the iPhone 4G.
Possible names for the iPhone 4G:
There are numerous rumors going around concerning the upcoming iPhone
and few of them state that it will be named the iPhone HD. This is a change from the current scheme, in which the naming goes iPhone 2G and 3G. Probably the only reason would be that the new one will come with some brilliant and novel HD features.
People are saying that naming the phone iPhone 4G would simply point towards the fact that the phone would support 4G network. But even that isn’t surprising as Apple is famous for innovating new things often.
The date of release:
Rumors have it that the new iPhone 4G or HD is going to be released early this summer but it is unclear. The news has not yet been confirmed by Apple. However, there are many hints to support the rumors. For instance, Apple has reserved the place that they use to make all new announcements about new gadgets. Even the launch of the iPad was conducted there. This indicates that there will be a new gadget releasing soon.
Another significant pointer is that AT&T has banned all the staff from taking offs. It could mean that AT&T may be enjoying a popular phase but it could also be possible that the release of the iPhone 4G isn’t far off.
