Vodafone Essar to offer 3G services in India by the first quarter of 2011

vodafone essarTata Docomo is the first private sector telecom provider for 3G services in India after Bsnl. Tata Docomo started its 3G services on November 5 of 2010 in all around nine states of India.Bharti Airtel will be the second one to launch its 3G services in India by the end of 2010 with contracts for network awarded to Ericsson India.

India Gets Its First 3G Mobile TV With MPEG4 Technology

This new 3G mobile TV is being offered to all of MTNL’s subscribers in the two major cities of Mumbai and Delhi. The device is unique in India because it’s the first device to provide IPTV feed for the mobile TV in India. This will help viewers watch TV at an extremely high speed and resolution.
